7F Homeroom information
Hi parents,
I have noticed that many of the students have not submitted some of the items requested on the school supply list. Some items, such as 1 pkg of pencils, 1 eraser, 1 pkg of looseleaf, and a box of tissue were asked to be handed in to the teacher. I would like to encourage your child to hand these items in if he or she has not already done so. I have found from past experience that it works very well to have a bank of these items in the class. Inevitably all students run out of paper or pencils, or lose them, etc. If all students hand in the requested items at the beginning of the year, I find I have enough supplies to furnish students as they run out for the remainder of the year. This way, parents do not have to go out during the school year to purchase new items for their child. There were also some suggested items on the school list (post-it notes and plastic spoons). These two items are completely optional as classroom donations. Students have a variety of uses for the post-it notes, and the plastic spoons are for when they forget to bring one from home for their lunch. Thank you for your support.
