Mrs. MacInnis's classes

L.A. - Students should be prepared to present their speech. Many students have already presented. The others have been asked to present but were not prepared to do so. Students lose one mark each day they are asked but are not prepared. - Students should have passed in the sheet "Gearing Up for the Cold Follow-Up." Again, students lose one mark each day it is not passed in. 7H I.C.E. - Students need to finish the sheet "Object Pronouns."

Mme Walsh-McKillop's Math Classes

Weekly Assignment #2 has now been posted on both Edmodo and my wikispace. It is due March 29.

Several students did not hand in their assignment due today. You have had a week to complete it.

Students are continuing to work on their Cartesian Graphing projects in class.

Reminder about our basket fundraiser.

There is no school for students on the following dates: March 25, April 8 and May 6.

7H I.C.E. - Mrs. MacInnis

There will be a test on Thursday, March 17. Students need to review their sheets on subjects, predicates, nouns (common and proper) and noun abbreviations.

Gr. 7 L.A. - Mrs. MacInnis

Students were to have finished their speeches before leaving for March Break and to have rehearsed them over March Break. We will start presenting Wed., March 16. Students who volunteer may present first, and then I will be calling students to present in random order. If a student is not ready to present, I will give him or her until Monday, March 21 to be prepared before penalizing. Students should have their speeches on cue cards for Wed. Only key words, facts and phrases should be on the cards. They should not write out the whole speech.

Today we began discussing the Cartesian Graph system.

Students in 7E, 7G and 7H have handout 7.1 for homework.

Please note the following:

(1) All students will require graph paper this week.
(2) My classroom days are now back to Tuesday and Thursday. I am avalaible for extra help on both of these days. Students may also come in to work on assignments/homework during these days.
